Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of STAD type cooperative learning model along with the image media to the basic science process skills and biology learning outcomes of students of class VII MTs Al-Raisiyah Sekarbela. The type of research used is quasi experimental research (quasi experiment). The population in this research is all students of class VII MTs Al-Raisiyah Sekarbela. The sample used in this study were students of class VIIB totaling 22 people as an experimental class and students of class VIIA which amounted to 22 people as a control class. Sampling in this research using purposive sample technique. The data of the basic science process of the students was analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed 85% of experimental class students have basic science process skills with very good category, 75% others with good category. While in the control class, 71% of students had basic science process skills with good category, 57% others with less good category. Data of learning result in this research is taken by giving the initial test and final test to the sample class student. Data collection techniques use objective tests that have been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis technique using t-test test formula. The result of the final test showed that the average of experiment class is 73,22 and control class is 71,45. The result of data analysis shows thitung equal to 3,72 and ttable 2,021. Obtained thitung > ttable at 5% significance level and degrees of freedom of 44, so that Ha accepted or no influence STAD type cooperative learning model along with the media images of student learning outcomes. The conclusion in this research is that there is influence of STAD type cooperative learning model along with the picture media to basic science process skill and biology learning result of grade VII student of MTs Al-Raisiyah Sekarbela.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: In Indonesia, especially in West Nusa Tenggara Province, precisely in Sumbawa Island, this okra plant is very rarely used as a main crop in the agricultural world, but only used as plants with intercropping system. This matter cause less knowledge of okra plant, whereas agriculture area of Sumbawa island is very suitable for the development of okra cultivation is also less utilized by the society around, because some of society not yet know other mamfaat from okra plant (Abelmoschus esculentus). Okra content includes carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins A, B, C. The purpose of this is to determine the effect of planting media on the growth of okra plants (A. esculentus) and To develop the results of research on the okra planting medium (A. esculentus) Local Sumbawa as the basis preparation of the Physiology Practicum Guidebook Book I. held in Pejeruk Bangkat. On the number of leaves there are significant results due to the treatment of planting media of soil rice husk capable of absorbing water and tying her water in the soil in considerable amounts. Based on the validation of practical instructions, then this lab manual is suitable for use as a practicum of plant physiology.

Abstract

Tempe is a traditional grain-based food that is in great demand by the people of Indonesia, because in addition to its relatively cheap price, its vegetable protein content is also quite high. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of tempeh through organoleptic tests made from gude (Cajanus cajan (L.) Millps.) seeds with different concentrations and fermentation time. This type of research is a pure experiment. The research was carried out at the Biology Laboratory, FSTT, Mandalika University of Education. The experimental research design used a Randomized Block Design (RAK). Consists of two factors, namely: yeast concentration (K1 = 1.5%; K2 = 2%; and K3 = 2.5%), and fermentation time (F1 = 24 hours; F2 = 30 hours; and F3 = 36 hours ), with 3 replications to obtain 27 experimental units. Data collection techniques using organoleptic tests, which include: color, aroma, texture, and taste tests. Sampling for panelists using purposive sampling technique. Organoleptic test data were collected through the hedonic preference test, with a scale of 1-5, namely: 1 = dislike, 2 = neutral, 3 = somewhat like, 4 = like, and 5 = very much like. The data analysis technique used Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) with a significant level of 5%. Based on the results of statistical analysis concluded that the concentration of yeast and fermentation time had a significant effect on the color, aroma, texture, and taste of the gude seed tempeh produced.

Abstract

Corn is the second staple food after rice with a large area of cultivation in West Nusa Tenggara Province, especially in Sumbawa Regency, corn production in 2019 reached 697,210 tons, in a harvested area of 110,035 ha, productivity reached 63.36 kw/ha. Until now, corncob waste has not been optimally utilized, because its economic value is very low. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of corncob waste as a mixture of basic ingredients in making baglog of oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus). This type of research is a pure experimental research (true experiment). The research approach used is quantitative. The research design used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD), using 4 treatments and 5 replications, so that 20 treatment replications were obtained. The results showed that the average acceleration of mycelium length growth in different treatments showed significantly different numbers, namely 2.03 cm produced by P3 treatment (25% wood sawdust + 75% corncob powder).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurship education with self-efficacy moderation on student entrepreneurial attitudes. This study is a descriptive exploratory study with 35 biology education students as subjects. The research instrument used was a closed questionnaire with degraded attitude answers according to the Likert scale and had been validated by experts. Analysis of the research data used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with the Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA) test at a significance level of 5%. The results of the study show that: 1) student perceptions of entrepreneurship education have an average of 3.15 in the good category, self-efficacy is 3.12 in the good category, and entrepreneurial attitude is 3.06 in the good category; 2) there is an effect of entrepreneurship education with self-efficacy moderation on student entrepreneurial attitudes with an F value of 93.109, and a significance value of 0.000 which is less than the alpha testing value of 0.05 (> 0.05); and 3) entrepreneurship education with self-efficacy moderation influences student entrepreneurial attitudes by 73.8%, and the rest is influenced by variables or other factors.
